As stated below in the TikTok, these are “better than chips.” While that statement is debatable, these did turn out super yummy!
To get more specific than this TikTok, we boiled our water with the potatoes and salt on high until fork-tender then preheat the oven to 400 degrees. We let them sit for maybe a half hour after they were smashed, seasoned (with salt, pepper, and garlic powder), and in the oven and realized they were not becoming crispy. Due to this, we upped the temperature to 450 degrees and thankfully they started crisping. Below is the end result which was very yummy, however not quite as crispy as FitGreenMind’s.
